Computer Training
In this programme we focus on educating following subjects- Computer Basics (Basic
Architecture, Hardware and Software), Internet (demonstrating simple applications),
Basics of IT and their applications etc. We have created a workshop which includes
a hands-on session where students can perform tasks which expose them to the world
of computers.
Books Distribution
Under this programme, Parinati distributes stationery kits- generally containing
notebooks, pens, geometric boxes- to the students. The items in the kits are decided
in consultation with the school staff. Like all our programmes, here too the focus
is on rural and under-privileged sections.
Sponsoring
We endeavour to sponsor economically handicapped but academically promising students
(fees, uniforms etc.), especially from rural areas up to the ‘+2’ level.
Competitive Skills
In this programme we conduct competitions like Quiz, Debate, Drawing, Pick and Speack
etc at different levels like school level, village or town level. And also encourage
teachers to conduct this types of programmes frequently.
Civic Responsibility
Under this programme, Parinati tries to create awareness about the civic-sensibilities
among the students. Like, simple ways to keep our surroundings clean and hygienic,
usage of dustbins, planting trees, help others gain such awareness etc. We plan
to expand this programme to cover creating awareness about Child Rights.
Sports Kit
Under this programme Parinati distributes sports kit to schools. Kit contains cricket
set, volley ball, badminton set, carom board and chess board. The composition of
the kit will depend on the school infrastructure and students' interest.
Library Kit
Under this programme, books authored by different personalities will be donated
to the school. This will ensure that the students don't focus just on academic texts
but also develop reading habit leading to personality development.
